VARIGON® — Argon–hydrogen/helium mixtures
Varigon H35
Varigon H35 is an argon–hydrogen mixture. Hydrogen increases heat transfer, so welding speed rises and penetration deepens; its reducing effect also limits oxidation of the weld. It is used for TIG and plasma welding of austenitic stainless steels. It is not suitable for hydrogen-sensitive materials.
